Our charcoal is made only from dense WHITE QUEBRACHO hardwood, harvested in one of the driest areas of the South American sub-tropical forest, which makes it the ideal raw material to produce the most premium WHITE QUEBRACHO charcoal yielding the highest calorific output and consistent long-lasting burning.
When it leaves the factory our WHITE QUEBRACHO Charcoal is totally free from fines, dust and small particles as it is fully screened into BBQ ( 30-80 mm) and RESTAURANT GRADE ( 50-150 mm) before packing, so that we assure premium quality in every bag of charcoal we ship.
Strong multi-layer Kraft, polypaper or polypropylene bags are available for printing private labels; attractive and appealing designs are also available under generic brands.

Quality control from harvesting to shipping
Our biggest advantage over most of the other South American exporters is that our production is vertically integrated from the tree to the kiln:
Logging in at our own forests and other managed forests following a pre-arranged environmentally licensed harvesting plan
Seasoning the logs by stacking them in windrows to dry
Cutting the logs and branches to feed over 200 outdoor brick kilns specially designed and built by us to heat, in the absence of oxygen, one of the hardest woods on earth through a slow pyrolytic process
The outcome is one of the most premium charcoals in the world market, which is then moved to a nearby processing plant where it is mechanically screened, packed, loaded into containers and trucked to the Port for further shipping worldwide
All made under our one single management and ownership.
In this way we exercise full control of the process and can manage quality at every step.
Most exporters depend and rely heavily on third party charcoal producers and so are unable to guarantee quality and consistency.
Our charcoal is environmentally sustainable.
Our production of WHITE QUEBRACHO charcoal, from the forest to the single lump, takes place far from any protected area, and is officially certified by the Forest Management Office of the Province of Chaco, Argentina, as made from approved and sustainable forest resources ( GREEN SEAL HOLDER ).
The basic raw material from which our charcoal and briquettes are made (native hardwoods, mainly white quebracho) comes from what is called "conversion forestry fields" that is patches of native forest areas where the hardwoods are replaced, partially, by pastures for cattle rearing.
As previously explained the logging operations follow a pre-arranged and strictly controlled harvesting plan under the close observance of the official authorities.
We believe it is of the utmost importance to operate under a tight legal framework to ensure that no trees are cut illegally, no forest is harmed or destroyed.
The species itself ( ASPIDOSPERMA WHITE QUEBRACHO ) is not listed in the CITES Appendices or on the IUCN Red List
The certification program includes a social audit that gives proof that working conditions and labour practices at our operations sites are fair and good. We highly value the well-being of our employees
